A long break...

It have been quite a while since I blogged now, life gets in the way sometimes. During this break I have just not felt like blogging. I have still created jewelry and I have also explored the world of mixed media. Mixed media is so much more than mixed media jewelry which I have explored with my resin jewelry.

A big mixed media art inspiration for me have been Christy Tomlinson and I have taken some online workshops with her. She also have free videos on Youtube where I fist discovered her work.

A while ago I got an idea that I would make some canvas art for our home using a transfer technique. I bought some supplies but then I got the flu and was totally under the weather for over two weeks  so I didn't get any crafting done.

I still haven't gotten to try my ideas but when I still had the flu I looked for inspiration on the Internet and found some really talented mixed media artists. Christy Tomlinson, Limore Weber and Donna Downey among others.

Then I attended the Stockholm Scrap & Pearl Event and got home with bags of mixed media supplies! Of course I bought beads and such as well but the majority was other things. Now the papers and stamps and such I can use when I do resin jewelry as well.
