Bead soup has arrived...

My bead soup from Cheryl Roe arrived in the beginnig of the week but I haven't been able to get any desent pictures until now. I have started working and isn't home when the lighting is good. And on top of that I got a new computer last weekend so I havent gotten to try out a new photo editing software until now. My sister uses one called Photoscape so I am giving it a try. But I do miss Photoshop so I might have to turn the basement upside down to find the instalation CD or get me a new edition...

The first thing that hit me when I opent up the package from Cheryl was that we have sent each other similar color palettes. And then I started drooling over the beautiful lampwork beads that she has made herself! And the copper toogle and beads...

Lovely little spacers...
...and this beautiful focal bead!

This is going to be so exciting! I haven't made any jewelry with handmade artisan lampwork beads before. I have bought some but kind of been a bit intimidated by them... what if I can't make a piece of jewelry that makes them justice? But now I am going to make a piece of jewlry with these wonderful beads from Cheryl and I can't wait to get started!

  2. I love that color combo--one of my favorites! I know what you mean about working with lampwork. It can be intimidating to work with something so beautiful!

  3. Lovely soup! Gillar färgerna och att där är så mycket strukturer i koppardelarna att jobba med. Ska bli kul att se vad du kan göra med dem.

  4. I hope you will enjoy working with them as much as I enjoyed making them.
